pushTAN - diese Verfahren funktioniert ähnlich wie Ihr bekanntes bisheriges smsTAN-Verfahren. Der Unterschied besteht darin, dass die TAN an eine App gesendet wird (S-pushTAN-App). Diese muss auf ein internetfähiges Smartphone bzw. Tablet geladen werden. Die S-pushTAN-App öffnen und verwalten Sie auf Ihrem Smartphone bzw. Tablet mit Ihren persönlichen Zugangsdaten. Jede TAN wird über diesen separaten Kanal erzeugt und passwortgeschützt angezeigt. Mit der pushTAN geben Sie Transaktionen - wie bisher - frei. Die Kosten ändern sich nicht.

chipTAN - für chipTAN benötigen Sie eine auf Ihren Namen ausgestellte Sparkassen-Card (Debitkarte) und einen sogenannten "TAN-Generator". Dieser kann über den Sparkassenshop kostenpflichtig erworben werden.
Für jeden Auftrag erzeugen Sie mit Ihrer Sparkassen-Card und dem TAN-Generator eine individuelle TAN.

The smsTAN procedure no longer meets current safety and comfort requirements. Update and change your smsTAN procedure to one of the TÜV-approved procedures "pushTAN" or "chipTAN". It's really easy to change. Below is a guide that tells you what to do, along with our answers to frequently asked questions.
Information on switching from smsTAN to pushTAN
pushTAN - this procedure works in a similar way to the familiar current smsTAN procedure. The difference is that the TAN is sent to an app (S-pushTAN app). This must be loaded onto an Internet-enabled smartphone or tablet. Open and manage the S-pushTAN app on your smartphone or tablet with your personal login details. Every TAN is generated via this separate channel and displayed with password protection. With pushTAN, you enable transactions as before. The charges will remain the same.
Information on switching from smsTAN to chipTAN
chipTAN - for chipTAN you will need a Sparkasse card (debit card) in your name and a so-called "TAN Generator", which is available to purchase from the Sparkasse Shop.
You use your Sparkasse card and the TAN generator to create an individual TAN for every order.

The optimum security and maximum comfort are of the utmost importance to us in online banking. That is why we are offering forward-looking alternatives in the "pushTAN" and "chipTAN" methods that can be used in every channel.
What does this mean for me as an smsTAN user?
It is only going to be possible to enable transactions using smsTAN for a limited period of time. We would therefore ask you to please change your backup procedure very soon – ideally now – so you can carry on using your online banking freely in the future.
The conversion process has been interrupted. What do I do to continue it?
Login to online banking. You can call up the process under Service > My activities and continue.
Will I be given a new login and PIN?
Your current login details will be retained when you change your backup procedure.
I don't have a Sparkasse card and want to use chipTAN
As an account holder, you can order a Sparkasse card as part of the switch and continue the switch once you have received it. Your current TAN procedure will be available to you until then. In all other cases, please contact your personal advisor.
I use the Sparkasse app. My new backup procedure is not being automatically stored.

2. Settings - Manage accounts/access data - Account settings (tool symbol) - Edit login data
3. Select login name and the desired TAN procedure
I already use a TAN generator for another bank account. Can I also use it for online banking with the Sparkasse?
The functionality depends on the particular model. You will need a device that supports the chipTAN procedure from version 1.3.
Is a separate TAN generator required for each account?
No. The TAN generator is not account-related, and can also be used by several online banking users.
